Answer

Problem: when working with the chess program Fritz 15 I noticed that the Nalimov Tablebases do not work, although the access to the "Endgame tables" has been activated.

Solution: The problem is the result of a conflict. In the settings under Menu File Options it can be indicated that Nalimov/Syzygy should be loaded when the program starts. But the program only accepts one of the two and prefers Syzygy, since our Endgame turbo contains this format and since it is more up-to-date. So access to the Syzgy tables has to be closed.
